Office Resources, Inc. New Corporate Headquarters

Leonard Engineering worked with EOP Architects to design a new 34,000 square foot building that will serve as the corporate headquarters for Office Resources, Inc. The new headquarters includes a finished office and showroom space, as well as an attached warehouse for product distribution, and a potential future addition.

The structure for the warehouse portion of the building was load bearing tilt-up concrete walls with steel-framed roof system consisting of bar joists and joist girders. The office space was designed using structural steel framing and light gauge metal stud curtain walls.

The front 10,000 square feet of the building are the offices and showroom. This area features mock office environment setups and a café for guests and employees. The office and showroom space includes a 5,000 square foot second floor mezzanine with a flexible training and meeting space. There is a large patio on the main level with a balcony on the mezzanine level that overlooks the wooded creek running adjacent to the property.

The 24,000 square foot warehouse portion of the building has a minimum clear height of 28 feet.  This is the area where new product will be received and assembled, and where client furniture can be stored indefinitely in the high rack system utilized for palletized product storage.
