Our Team has Good Bones
“None of us are born successful…we all have the potential to realize our dreams…so with a strong commitment and a serving heart…we all can provide EPIC results for others.” That was the theme of Elleanor Leonard’s speech at the 2015 National Association of Women Business Owners Louisville Chapter’s EPIC Awards Dinner. Leonard Engineering’s president was one of six finalist for the Business Woman of the Year Award out of the more than one hundred nominees. We continue to be very proud of her and all she has accomplished for the company.
To quote Elleanor again from the EPIC Awards, “As we say in our industry, you want a building with “good bones”. This is true when forming a team and our team has great bones! I particularly enjoy their enthusiasm when I tell them about a great new project we will be doing, and see faces light up while hearing sweet.”
Leonard Engineering now has even stronger bones thanks to the addition of another structural engineer joining us in February as a project engineer, which expands our firm to five.
Nathan Jennings, EIT, graduated from Purdue University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Lyles School of Civil Engineering. Since then, Nathan has managed and designed major projects for Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD), including a wastewater treatment plant upgrade, water quality treatment center modifications, and other various renovations. In addition, he served as the design engineer on a school addition for Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS).
His projects have included designs in structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and structural aluminum. He also has experience with structural special inspections, construction administration, and writing specifications. Nathan’s technical knowledge and expertise with various design software, including REVIT, enable him to deliver efficient and cost-effective designs.
Nathan started working with our team in time to celebrate during the EPIC Awards with staff and family. Please join us in welcoming Nathan. We are thrilled that he chose to come onboard.
