Leonard Engineering was chosen to provide the structural engineering design for the new Station #1 and headquarters for the Worthington Fire Department. Our scope of work also included production of full construction documents and specifications. Station #1 is a mixed-use building. It is the headquarters for the Worthington Fire Department, housing the main offices, fire fighter quarters, exercise room, emergency vehicle garage and also contains meeting rooms and public assembly space for rent. The building is located in the Norton Commons development in Prospect, Kentucky.
Steve Leonard has designed the building structure on several successful projects of which Vincent Schmidt and Estu Inc. also designed the mechanical systems. He is very thorough in his work and coordinates with all the other professionals on a project.
